Naturally Native
Sadly, this garden was remove for a construction project that will upgrade the fire systems in the BNR building.
The original native plant garden was designed by Tiffany Graham, Anne Haueter, Jennie Hoover, Tony McCammom, Laura McCoy, Sara Sevy, Mark Slavens & Judy Stockton, students in the Low Water Use Landscaping class, Fall 2003. Instructor, Roger Kjelgren; Department of Plants, Soils and Climate; College of Agriculture. The Interpretive panel concept design was created by Lindsey Jackson, undergraduate student in the Natural Resources Interpretation class, Fall 2007. Instructor, Barbara Middleton, Department of Environment and Society, College of Natural Resources. CWEL faculty and staff within the Department of Plants, Soils and Climate conduct research related to water-effcient landscaping and assisted with background information and panel images.
