Description
Low growing groundcover. Very nice magenta-colored cup shaped flower that bloom non stop throuhgt the season. Attractive deeply palmatly loped leaf.

Range

Culture
Full sun will produce the best results, espesially with the number of blooms. This plant will, however, tolerate some shade at the cost of the abundant number of flowers. It's deep growing taproot makes it very drought tolerant, even in the most exposed conditions. This plant dies back entirely every year and regrows from the crown in the spring.l

Value
The magenta flower is attractive and present through out the summer and fall. The dark green of the leaf is a nice contrast to the grey-green color found in so many other dought tolerant species. This plant cascaes well and can work well inparking strips if not subjected to too much foot traffic.
Propagation
Grow from seed, planted 1\8 inch deep. Germination is improve with scarification.
