Description
Sticky hairs cover the surface of this plant's foliage, producing a characteristic geranium odor. The plant can reach heights over 2 feet tall, and bears pink to purple saucer-shaped flowers with petals averaging about 1/2 inch in length. The flowers are palatable to many wild animals.

Range
You can find this geranium growing in the sagebrush steppe, and are very commonly found in aspen groves.

Culture
Needs moderate water regime and well drained soil.

Value
Very attractive plant that can cover large areas, but not common in the trade.

Propagation
To start seed soak in gibberillic acid 1:500ppm with water for 5 hours. Rinse and sow onto soil. Cover to depth. For easy germination sow in desired location outside in the fall cover with ¼ inch of soil, water in. Look for plants around June. Easy from divisions.
